Vancouver’s Largest Indie Craft Event
Buy local. Buy handmade.
Vancouverites who have had a hard time finding the perfect gift will breathe a sigh of relief when they attend the Holiday GOT CRAFT event! Got Craft will take place at the Grandview Legion located at 2205 Commercial Drive from 11:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, December 7th, 2008.
Featuring 50 local, handmade vendors, GOT CRAFT is Vancouver’s largest indie craft event. Vendors include handmade stationary by the Beautiful Project, jewelry by Its Your Life, plush toys from Cutesypoo Toys and wire work accessories by pomo mama designs. GOT CRAFT is a modern twist on the conventional craft fair. “Crafting sometimes gets a bad reputation, but we promise there will be no doilies and holiday jumpers at this show,” says Andrea, co-producer.
The holiday season is a busy one and the first weekend of December kicks off a month of crafty events. Across the city, various craft events are taking place on the same weekend including Green Christmas, Shiny Fuzzy Muddy 9 and the Heritage Hall Craft Fair. Pick up your pals and make a crafty weekend out of it and cross off your entire shopping list in one go by visiting over 100 vendors.
Admission to GOT CRAFT is $2.00 at the door. Kids 10 and under are free. The first 30 people through the door will receive a free, handmade, reusable swag bag filled with goodies from each of our vendors.
